The more they lose, the less credible the Grizzlies become as an organization. It's getting hard to buy even the players' comments anymore. The team lost for the 13th time in its last 15 games on Friday, and they seem to bring the same lazy attitude to the court every night. I know deep down somewhere they must want to win. If they didn't, they wouldn't be human. I understand that they are young, but they don't appear to be learning much from their losses. Every night, we hear them say that they just didn't get it done. They say the opponent just wanted it more. If coach Iavaroni is the problem, and I'm sure a lot of this has to do with him, I still think the players could play together and win some games in spite of him. So you have to wonder if everyone has just mailed it in.

Great blog man, I've been trying to comment for a while, but for some reason it finally let me.
I think Iavaroni is part of the problem but the only way I see anything else happening for the Grizz this season is a big trade. There has been no word that I know of about that Conley for Sessions and Alexander trade again. We need something like that though. If we win around 27-33 games like we should this season it'll put us in an awkward draft position. The draft won't be as deep as many of the recent ones have either. And we never get the position we want, unless of course we somehow get lucky, which has never happened in Grizz history. Chris Wallace needs to make a good move or the Grizz need to find someone who will.
We could shop Rudy Gay around but I still think with all the cap room we have we're going to wait it out until the summer of 2010. There are a couple of options this summer but I still say they should wait until 2010... hopefully only one more season like this, at most.
